We decided to completely unplug while we spend our weekends at the farmhouse. No television, no internet and we pretty much have zero cell phone service. Due to our freeze alarm for the cold winters we did need a landline (I didn’t know they still existed). In the beginning I was apposed to my partner’s commitment to having no internet but after reevaluating how much we spend online during the week I was easily convinced it was a much needed escape. One of our first purchases was a record player. I hadn’t listened to a record in years so we’re super excited to buy vintage vinyl. My genre of choice: jazz (love Stan Gatz). What’s yours?
